I took my first storytelling course with Tell Me A Story back in 2015. Hillary gave my jumbled ideas structure and clarity, while maintaining my own voice. I eventually pitched that story to Risk!, my podcast obsession. When I found out that my story was accepted, I was so excited and nervous to have my story out there for anyone to hear. I reached out to Hillary right away. She sat with me, patiently, giving me notes and tweaks until I felt confident and comfortable going in front of an audience. It was a moment I will forever be proud of.
