Tell Me A Story at Shot Tower Coffee

Practice makes perfect. Workshops and coaching can only get you so far in developing your storytelling ability – sometimes you have to just get up and do it! The Tell Me A Story Live Show began in 2011 and has been running as a bi-monthly series ever since. Held at Shot Tower Coffee in Philadelphia, each show is hosted and produced by Hillary Rea and features six storytellers sharing true stories on the night's theme. Each event is curated to showcase a range of experiences from a variety of backgrounds. Watch stories from past shows on our Vimeo channel.

The TMAS Live Show is a great way to practice your storytelling skills. If you are interested in working with Hillary, but want to see storytelling in action, come to a live show and get inspired. Listening to others is the first step in your journey towards becoming the storyteller you know you can be. It’s also your chance to mingle with like-minded people and ask Hillary’s advice on any issues you might be struggling with!

As a regular attendee of just about every storytelling show around, I unabashedly tell everyone that Tell Me A Story is my favorite one. The pacing of the event, Hillary Rea’s excellent curation of storytellers and the great venue all contribute to the wonderful experience of attending. I’m always looking forward to the next show.
